MkII heavy duty shoring | Ideal for bridges and tunnels
MkII Soldiers are renowned for versatility and exceptional heavy-duty dead shoring capacity, ideal for large slabs, bridge decks, tunnel forms and beams. In addition the system provides an adaptable and economic formwork system which can be used in a range of wall forming and slab support applications.
The chief components for MkII Soldiers are steel beams in various sizes of up to 3.60 m, with a wide range of connectors and accessories available. All components are manufactured to the highest quality standards and galvanised for extended durability.
A perfect solution for bridge shoring and tunnel forms
By creating three dimensional frames where up to eight soldiers can be connected together, MkII Soldiers will carry leg loads as high as 600 kN, making it the right solution for bridge shoring applications and complex tunnels. To facilitate this, special multiway connectors and braces have been developed. Under exceptional loads, special wedge jacks are also available to allow easy striking.
